Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP)
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is a small amount of your own plasma enriched with platelets. These platelets contain natural growth factors that help support the scalp and encourage healthier-looking hair.
How PRP is prepared
A small blood sample is taken and placed into a centrifuge. This process separates the components of the blood and concentrates the platelets. The platelet-rich portion is then collected and gently injected across mapped areas of the scalp.
What PRP contains
PRP contains platelets suspended in plasma. Platelets carry growth factors that help support a healthy environment around the follicles.
Comfort and downtime
Most people experience minimal downtime. Mild redness or tenderness can appear after treatment and usually settles within 24–48 hours.
Sessions and timeline
A typical plan includes 3–6 sessions spaced a few weeks apart. Many clients begin to notice early changes from around 6–12 weeks, with fuller improvements developing gradually.
