hydra

When we think about having nice skin, we think about hydration, moisture, and freshness.

In our practice, we offer several types of treatments that will help you improve the texture and the overall appearance of your skin; we only use effective methods that are backed up by scientific research as our team of medical professionals only provides the safest and most updated and effectual procedures; we know that you will see the results and you will love them! In this article, we are going to cover a few procedures that we are very proud to offer in our clinic.

One of them, is the Hydrafacial.

This is a treatment with proven efficacy that offers the 4-in-1 vortex technology system, one of the most advanced technologies currently available for its purpose; it uses vortex energy, exfoliation, extraction, and fusion, all in one session.

It's a really simple treatment that is effective for all skin types, and it addresses several skin concerns due to the way it combines multiple procedures in one.

To put it simply: Hydrafacial is a treatment that deeply cleanses the skin and then immediately replenishes what's needed to get a hydrated and glowy look.

HydraFacial is also the perfect way to enhance the work done at home; it's non-invasive and non-surgical, and it gets customised based on your skin condition and needs, using specific serums and LED lights.

After laser or a chemical peel, it's common to be red or peel afterwards, and a Hydra facial is like microdermabrasion, but we use lactic acid, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, and then we use hyaluronic acid and peptides to hydrate the skin afterwards, all done it at once with one advanced machine with different tips.

It's a very comfortable and relaxing procedure divided into four steps.

The first step in the HydraFacial gently cleanses the skin and effectively exfoliate the stratum corneum layer, removing both dead skin and sebum; this allows the skin to appear brighter and healthier.

The second step uses a mix of salicylic and glycolic acids to loosen deep pore debris; it's a great mix to prevent pustules in acne.

The third step uses the advanced vacuum technology to remove impurities and blackheads.

The fourth step in the HydraFacial treatment delivers an antioxidant formula to the skin, including hyaluronic acid and peptides. This final step is crucial for its rejuvenating and restorative properties.

Using the most advanced technology, the HydraFacial cares for the skin in the most effective yet gentle way.

It's recommended to have it done once a month, or at least once every season.

HydraFacial helps reducing fine lines, and it's suitable for those who are not willing to simply have extractions done to the face as they're too painful or difficult while having a facial.

It's a more of a gentle version of a classic facial, as there is minimal redness after it, and there is no downtime. It's possible to wear make-up on after and go on with your day.

Results are instant, and you will appreciate them right after having the procedure done; there is no waiting time as your skin will glow immediately!

mesotherapy

Another treatment offered in our practice is PRP combined with Mesotherapy.

PRP stands for platelet-rich plasma, and it’s a concentration of wound healing growth factors that are naturally found in the blood. This substance stimulates collagen and blood supply and contains several factors that, in the concentrated form, are shown to have anti-ageing properties.

PRP can be part of an overall strategy to help you look your best and treat facial ageing and discolouration.

PRP is often used for the face..

The areas most commonly injected in the face include the undereye, to make it look brighter and consequently make you look more rested, the orbital area, so around the mouth, to reduce the appearance of the nasolabial folds and any fine lines around the lips, and in the glabella, to reduce the shadows that often form between the eyebrows that make you look angry all the time. We use PRP in our practice for acne scars, skin rejuvenation, hair loss, dark circles in the undereye.

PRP can be made more potent by mixing it with other treatments such as mesotherapy.

Mesotherapy (or meso) is a powerful anti-ageing non-surgical treatment that includes an injection just below the skin with a hyaluronic acid cocktail of vitamins.

It involves having several injections on the face that offer several benefits to give the skin a general glow and radiance-boosting and hydration.

It’s trendy and is a well-known treatment. It’s not just for the face; it can be injected into the neck and scalp to stimulate hair growth.

It’s a great tool to reduce rosacea or sensitive skin too.

The combination PRP+ mesotherapy is one of the safest and effective options, it’s not the same treatment as Botox, but it will help soften the lines considerably; in fact, Botox works on muscle movement while PRP+ meso works on the surface level of the skin.

As mesotherapy contains hyaluronic acid, it gives the skin a plumping effect, which is immediate, and mixed with the PRP; the whole texture of the skin will be improved and significantly reduce dark circles.

The recovery takes a few hours or less, so you’re able to get back to work the same day.

The results are noticed quite quickly after the treatment; usually, for the face, the results are immediate, whereas for the hair, it will take a few weeks as you’ll need to give time to the scalp.

PRP is an entirely natural procedure as it comes from your own body and has long-term benefits. Mesotherapy refers to adding a cocktail of hyaluronic acid + multivitamins into the final product to boost the overall results.

We are reintroducing natural factors in the skin, where these growth factors are needed.

PRP+ meso is a very safe procedure, and it’s well-tolerated.

You may have some discomfort, but it’s significantly reduced by the numbing cream that will be applied prior.

You may experience some flakiness due to the natural skin turnover, and it’s crucial not to pick at it!

Due to the injections, mild bruising can appear where the skin is very thin, like around the eyes.

Redness and itchiness could also be experienced.

PRP+ mesotherapy are an essential tool to slow down the ageing process, as they will boost collagen production and improve the look of wrinkles and fine lines.

It cannot be a substitute for an unhealthy lifestyle, such as smoking or drinking or having a bad diet and lacking sleep.

Another treatment that we love to provide is the Dermalux LED.

Dermalux LED Phototherapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses therapeutic light energy to stimulate skin rejuvenation and repair processes without pain or downtime.

It’s clinically proven and it’s effective from the very first treatment.

By using light, Dermalux Led we can boost that glow and vitality of the skin and target specific skin issues, such as

• Acne

• Eczema

• Pigmentation

• Ageing

• Rosacea

• Skin sensitivity

LED phototherapy is not new, and throughout history we had several examples that it is an effective treatment and that it works.

Initial work on the dermatological benefits of LED light was undertaken by NASA to study how to help wound healing under different atmospheric pressures. Light is now used for a range of conditions from cosmetic to skin cancer treatment.

Our skin can absorb light energy and use it to stimulate and regulate essential cell processes.

LED Phototherapy is the application of beneficial wavelengths from the visible and infrared part of the light spectrum. Skin that are energised function better and can renew up to 200% faster accelerating regeneration and repair.

After only one session, the first things that clients notice is a smoothness and softness to the skin.

It usually takes around 4 treatments, each to be done once weekly, to notice obvious improvements, but some clients notice improvements earlier.

Dermalux LED is not a painful treatment, is quite relaxing and will make you enjoy some me-time.

It’s safe, non-toxic and non-invasive, and as of today there are no side effects reported.

We have extensive experience in the medical field. We are well known for our clinic and expertise in aesthetics.

We love to look after our clients even after the procedures, and we are grateful for the hundreds of positive feedback from our patients.

Some people may not be suitable for these treatments; If you want to know more about them and figure out if you’re a good candidate for these procedures, feel free to contact us and leave a message, we will get back to you as soon as possible.
